Now that we know that Ohio's bowling (suh-weet!), which Ohio team will show up, the one that beat good North Texas and Marshall teams at the beginning of the season or the one that absolutely tanked it against Bowling Green, Ball State and Kent State?

I said somewhere else that I hope the team sees this as a chance for redemption.  They've been given another chance to show a NATIONAL TV audience what they can do, and they should sure shouldn't want people to remember them as the team that folded vs Buffalo and Kent.

Deja vu. I might be able to better answer your question if you could tell me the status of Prior and McGrath.

Will the guys who let go of the rope about a month ago find out where the rope is? Or do we even have a rope anymore?

Reading between the lines, I think after the KSU disaster Frank found the rope and hung a few malcontents by their heels and shock some sense into them.

Disagree vehemently.  We gotta play OHIO ball no matter who's available.  The newbies have a year of experience.

No excuses.

Agreed, Monroe.  This year's problems were mental, not physical.  It's good to hear on another post that T2 WANTS to play this game.

Let us not get all "vehement."

Monroe, you claim to be the realist, yet, you demand, vehemently, the RS Freshman be equal to the fifth year senior who was pre-season 1st team all MAC.  Get real. A year of experience does not equal four more years of lifting, practice and games.  Next man up sounds great when you are a team that reloads instead of rebuilds.  In the MAC NIU has been the only team I have seen do that.  It is just a little early for the newbies. Dietz, Johnson and Smith would have covered your demand, but, we are now using who would have been third team tackles.  Yup. this is me knowing TT or Vick are totally different players behind the old guys. Take a breath. Can we enjoy this whole deal, win or lose? No? I didn't think so.

East Carolina is a passing team but they do have a 1,000 yard RB. The played a bad game against Marshall to end the season that cost them the division title. They beat NC State and UNC both on the road. Dropped a game against Virginia Tech by 5 points. Ohio has a chance with the right game plan as they handled Marshall and North Texas. The last 2 season the Cats have looked better after a layoff.
