Hey, I think we all know what it's going to be, but for fun let's take a poll. I mean really, can't it get a little crazy for play numero uno? This is the Beef O Brady's Bowl after all.

EDIT: Glad I spelled out slash for everyone. Oy vey.

Deep play action to Cochran to set up Beau up the middle the rest of the game.

If we had a WR who could throw, I'd pick a WR reverse-option.  But I only remember seeing it once all season (Buffalo?) and it was pitiful.  ECU will be expecting the two most-often used first plays -- Beau up the middle and the play-action deep the Chase -- so if they plan to do something different, I'd guess Daz on a reverse.

If we'd ever just run a flea flicker off of Beau Up The Middle™...

I love that you TM'd that. Where is the newest T-shirt when we need one? Good stuff.

Screen pass.  Not a receiver screen, but a full-on linemen pulling screen.  Mow 'em down!

Or perhaps the pass rush breaks through and TT sits down to avoid getting hit.

Would there be any more of a psych-out Hayden Fry move than to have your quarterback hand the ball directly to the noseguard on the first play of the game?

By the way, I am actually Marty Mornhinweg.

A variation on this season's two defining plays: Out of the shotgun TT hands the ball to Beau who heads up the middle before flipping the ball back to TT who then fakes a shovel pass back to Beau before sitting down on the turf with the ball, 8 yards behind the line of scrimmage. This is also how we end the game 3 hours later. Both times ECU is completely fooled by the savviness of our offensive scheme.

Understand though, that in a parallel reality within the multi-verse Rakeem Cato plays for ECU. We win that version 73-72 after he throws eighteen second half interceptions. So there's that to feel good about...

If Tettleton runs read-option keeps multiple times leading to a huge victory I am going to be happy but also angry and confused about why the heck that didn't happen all year.

I really hope that TT knows that this will be the last game of organized football of his life and decides to go for broke and pull the ball down and run with it when he sees the opportunity.

he's playing in a senior bowl type game later so it's not the last unless he breaks a leg

This thread made me laugh out loud!  Let's hope that we come to play and have some creative play calling.  We certainly don't need another poor performance on national TV.  Go OHIO!!!
