I spoke with the Hilliard Beef O'Brady's this morning.

Joey is the manager, his wife is an OU grad, and he's working with his GM to get some specials going for the game.

I strongly believe it is appropriate and necessary that if we can't be at the Beef O'Brady's Bowl, we at least watch it at a Beef O'Brady's. So that is where I will be heading from Westerville.

Joey mentioned that if the turnout would be strong, that I try to give a heads up on a body count. So if you want to meet us there, please shoot me a PM.

The Cincinnati area gamewatch is being held at the Beef O'Brady's in Newport I believe.

This may seem like a small thing, but I do think that seemingly tiny efforts like Bobcat fans having game watches at Beef'O'Brady's locations may help Ohio's bowl chances in the long run.

When bowl organizers/sponsors evaluate who to select for bowls, don't you think that having some franchise owners tell the sponsor HQ, "we had a good Bobcat crowd at 2 p.m. on Monday. Great fans. And man, can they put away the nachos, onion rings and beer" might influence them/others who might have to choose in the future between Ohio and other similar teams? Toledo fans would have ordered a salad and a glass of water.

Yes, overall record and promise of travel/ticket sales will be the most determining factors, but I think Ohio's selection to this bowl was a close one, and we should make the most of any advantage we can to keep an edge.
