Something seems odd about this thread title.
As for the termination, it doesn't really surprise me. Honestly they were better as an FCS school before hiring him and moving up. For example, in 2010 they lost to #20 Michigan 42-37,in Michigan, and they beat Maine. In 2009 they lost 21-17 at Kansas State, and beat New Hampshire.
Also, I think his game decisions, for example, at the end of the U.Mass-WMU game, hurt him. (He went for 2, trying to avoid OT. Normally at home you stick with the OT, and perhaps go for 2 on the road).
