Akron Assistant Head Coach Alan Arrington was killed today in an automobile accident. Keeping his family, friends and team in my prayers.

Even more sad news: The son of Jeff Bowden -- Terry's brother, an assistant at Akron -- was killed in a car crash, according to CBS.  Two deaths among their football family and a basketball staffer fighting cancer have really put the gloom in this holiday season for Akron.  Our thoughts are with them all.
