16. Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl: East Carolina 37, Ohio 20
Dec. 23, St. Petersburg, Fla.

It was often ugly, and it ended in a fourth-quarter runaway, but for the middle two quarters, at least, everyone’s favorite bowl game looked like it might end with a competitive finish. But as expected, East Carolina was too deep and talented for the Bobcats to keep pace, thanks mostly to the running of Vintavious Cooper, who ran 25 times for 198 yards and two touchdowns. Ohio took a 20-17 lead early in the fourth quarter, but ECU rattled off three touchdowns in the final 10 minutes, including a 14-yard catch in double coverage by quarterback Shane Carden, to secure its first 10-win season since 1991, also including wins over instate foes NC State and North Carolina.

*Also:

5. Little Caesars Bowl: Pittsburgh 30, Bowling Green 27

14. Poinsettia Bowl: Utah State 21, Northern Illinois 14

28. Famous Idaho Potato Bowl: San Diego State 49, Buffalo 24

I hate watching that play again.  Two guys in position to make the play and failed.  That is what I mean by play makers.  Knock that ball down if you are behind or INT if you are in front.  i can hear it now, their QB made a great catch.  This is what I mean when i say we need PLAYMAKERS!
