Frank said that perhaps as many as 5 signees from yesterday may contribute this fall. I would love to see what Jared Brumfield could do for us next year as an Outside Linebacker. Big, Fast and physical dude.

I think the Jucos will all play, Bonnstetter, Boland, and Layton, so 5 playing would mean 2 freshmen.  Ohio has a lot of young linemen playing, and depth on both lines, so I'd think that, as usual, all the linemen will redshirt.  I hope that the RB's will get to redshirt, but it's possible that one or both are so good they need to get them on the field. The same is true of the DBs. I wouldn't be surprised to see a WR play, and if i had to guess it would be Walker or Brunis. As for LB, you may be right about Brumfield. Ohio was not overly impressive at LB last year, but again, I hope he can redshirt. I'd trade a 5th year starter for intermittent play as a true freshman.

I could see at least 3 or more true Freshman getting some pt. It's fairly obvious that all 3 jukes will play since their positions are extremely thin.

My first 3 picks would be White and Irons and Walker for some RB work. I'd rather see Walker at WR as we need someone besides Cochran to stretch the field. All 3 are playmakers....something we didn't have much of last year.

Jalen Fox and Kylan Nelson are both dynamic CB's and KR's....they probably will be redshirted but injuries could force us to use them as CB depth.

We've had first year WR's play before so guys like Brunis or Washington could surprise.

Highly doubtful that any OL or DL guys will play as we are fairly deep in both areas,

Frank's best class ever at Ohio?

Hmmmmmm.

I think Kuhar COULD contribute next year (6'4", 272 lb DE? me likey) but I don't think he will, since where does he fit in with Basham, Sayles, and Co. pretty much locking that down. The middle of the DL is still a mystery to me, though. We were pushed around too much last year. Do Aloese and Porter give us enough added beef up front? That's my worry.

If you watch some of the coaches videos here on the new recruits, they seem very happy with this class.

Albin seems very high on Irons and White.

In Williams video, talking about Kuhar and Berger, he mentions "one or both of them have a chance to make an impact early".

I think theres a chance we could see one of the WRs or Robbie Walker be used for kick/punt returns.

I love Coach Dixon....but me thinks he needs a geography lesson....in speaking of Brunis he said Fairfield was near Cleveland.

Two of the group see time at safety in the autumn of 14...

Maleek Irons totes the ball regularly.

and Tight End, Connor Brown, sets true freshman OHIO record for TD receptions in a game and season.

People aren't perfect. Except for the posters on Bobcatattack.
