Good for Fred.  Hope he does well.

It's interesting that he talks about the impact Grobe had on him, but he was here only one year under Grobe (2000).  He didn't mention his coach from '01 through '03.

Interesting that the coach fired for violations is former Marshall OL Nate McPeek, who played for Bob Pruett.

It's far from clear that Nate McPeek was actually personally culpable for any violations.  It was a very controversial situation about the use of one ineligible player.  Many in the community supported McPeek. 

Didn't hear any charges of kids getting summer jobs they didn't have to show up for.
