Nice to see Sam getting some playing time in the Rams preseason game. He's played some in the second quarter and had a nice catch for 11 yards, targeted 3 times so far.

It's always a pleasure seeing a former Bobcat getting some love at the next level.

He got blasted and was down for quite a while. Haven't seen an update. Hope he's okay.

It's always a long shot to make a roster as a UFA. It's good that he got this far instead of being cut in the spring. Maybe he'll get on somebody's practice squad.

I thought that he looked good when he had a chance to play. I wish this Kid all of the luck in the world.

I love Sam. Tough as nails. Smart. He needs to find the perfect situation. And I think he could solidify himself as a slot guy. Unfortunately, he's already 25 and when you're looking at the 6th or 7th WR on a team you're looking for someone who can contribute elsewhere on special teams and as a practice squad-type and a 5'10" 187 pound kid with 4.6 speed isn't gonna be it very often.

Maybe he could find himself in Canada? I hear BC needs some additional assistance.

Or maybe he could become the new WR coach?

I see he was signed to the practice squad. Hopefully he can make an active roster one day.
