Nearly all of 2013's yards graduated.  Who then should be awarded the ball this season?

Cochran, Patterson, Wilson, D. Brown, C. Brown, Boland....?

Yes.  Chase will probably be the go-to guy early simply because of his experience but we'll need to spread it around.  Daz and Edmond will probably carry the load in the running game unless somebody else steps up.

I did like the fact we finally gave Cochran a chance to run the ball last year at the bowl game.   I know they were shuffle passes but basically it's still a run and he seemed to pick up good yards each time.

Uh, Vick is, hopefully high on that list, too.  That is, or was, our most successful offensive strategy a couple of years ago.  Just sayin'.

All the key players should get touches, and whoever does the most with them should get more. They shouldn't be "awarded" to anyone; they should be earned.

Yes players earn game participation in practice, during meetings, while lifting etc. Just that every time a coach listed me to start or called my name I absolutely felt I had been awarded the opportunity. Not saying the touches are not earned.

Of course,  Didn't realize that needed to be clarified....

Right, the big question is who has earned them, is earning them now and will earn them in the summer as the season gets ready to begin.

Amen.

Lot of opportunity to make an impact on this roster if you do have some ability with the ball in your hands.

I'm really hoping we utilize Daz better than last year and some of our freshman HB's are able to step in and make their presence felt.

I always hope the elder roster athletes can protect the freshmen from having to trade freshman play for what they would be capable of as RS SRs.
