Paul Myerburg takes an early look at the MAC. Ohio is on stealth mode, flying under the radar, and nearly avoids any mention at all in the article, and his early pick is for Ohio to finish 3rd in the East.

Under the radar is good. We were under the radar in 2011, Can't was under the radar in 2012, and BUGS was under the radar last year. Although his picks are basically the same as last year's final standings.....so he's not really going too far out on a limb.

That's pretty normal as a starting point. If a team has huge losses, they get moved lower, and if a team has few losses, they get moved higher. Given the huge losses for the Bobcats on the offensive side, I'd expect most pundits to move them somewhat lower than last year's finish. Personally, because of the improvements I perceive in the defense, and in attitude, I expect them to finish somewhat above last year's finish.

That's basically what the MAC media do when they vote in July. The previous year's champs miraculously wind up at the top of the ballots.

Looking at Myerburg's early predictions, the top four teams he has for each division could wind up in any of the top four slots.  Kent might even be one of the top four in the East.
