2015 CB recruit Gary Haines of Manvel, TX has posted a video where he throws a pass maybe 40 or 50 yds downfield -- and catches it himself.  It's a high arcing toss that isn't in camera view for the entire shot, so maybe his throw went off to the side and someone else tossed the ball he caught.  Anyway, it's an interesting video.

I can do this with a Frisbee.  Learned it on the West Green when people still lived there.  Did the football come back to him, too?

The timing doesn't look plausible. There is a very long time before the ball finally appears on screen, and when it does appear, it is moving faster than he is. Add to that that when you watch his throw, the ball leaves his hand heading to the right, as in, over the cameraman, I would guess that his actual throw landed well to the right of the trees to his right when he catches the ball.

Reminds me when I completed passes to myself in the late 1960's reenacting Rex Kern to Bruce Jankowski!
