I know we often joke about Akron malls, but I found these pictures online of an Akron Mall, and I don't see how this is much of a recruiting advantage.

Cool photos, even if it's depressing!  Both were very nice malls I remember visiting as a kid.

As was City Center in downtown Columbus in its day.  Times change as do neighborhoods and people keep moving further and further out.  Polaris was farm land 10 years ago.

The photos in Akron depict Rolling Acres Mall, which opened in the mid-1970s and was dying a quick death just 15 years later.  Part of the downfall was the extension and expansion of bus service to the mall, which almost immediately brought in a crowd of thugs. By the early 1990s people were getting assaulted on a regular basis in the parking lot.
