Ugh well that was quick..if Tyler can get past his pride I think he would be an amazing Arena football QB.

That's a shame. If he could get back to the form he had prior to his injury in his Junior year, he could do well, but post-injury he never really seemed to get back to how he played as a Sophomore. I was hoping that a fresh place and a new start would get him back to his old form.

Tyler had a great career at OHIO but I would think it is probably time for him to move on with his life.  Probably not quite the physical guy most teams are looking for and, as all seem to think, he never got back to sophomore year after the injury.

Best of luck to a great Bobcat QB!

A couple considerations in Canada is that their rosters can have no more than 3 QBs and 23 "imports" (i.e., players from outside Canada) -- 19 on the regular roster and 4 on the reserve roster.  Hamilton's roster right now has 4 QBs and 47 imports.  It might not be so much a matter of performance as much as numbers.

It's always both. The numbers say that they have to drop a QB and 24 imports, the performance tells them which ones to drop.

It's also a matter of comparison among players; he could've done well but not as well as the others.  They already have two very fine QBs on their roster -- their starter from last season, Dan Lefouvre from CMU, and Zach Collaros from Cincy, who they signed as a free agent in the offseason (he had played in all 18 games for Toronto last year and started five).
