Again, Monroe, thid thread is for discussing the fine accomplishments of Lavon Brazill, a player all Ohio fans can be proud of, and wish the best for. There is a similar thread for Michael Mitchell.

Heck of a td catch!  So glad lavon has seemingly learned football is priority no. 1 and has taken advantage of his second chance.

And he ALMOST blocked the punt on the Patriots' subsequent possession.

I realize it's the announcer's job to just verbally fellate Andrew Luck every chance they get, but they gave no credit to Brazill on that first touchdown catch for hanging on to that ball when the defender had his hand all up in Lavon's business. That was a difficult catch!

Did Brazill really run the wrong pattern on that last interception?

That's what Dorf on football was assuming. It's possible but also possible it was just underthrown.

I agree with DFC!

As far as the last interception, maybe Lavon was supposed to break off the route and maybe he was not supposed to. Thank God this was Dierforf's last game, never could stand the Michigan SOB.

Maybe like Hoke, he saw Ohio and ass-u-med Lavon played for Ohio State threw him under the bus.

I thought Deardorff was a bit quick to judge on that one.  Seemed to me that they were going into the wind, so the ball might've died.  It wasn't really obvious.

LaVon had a good game and it seems that Luck is thinking of him more as a go-to guy.

Colts sign a wr in free agency and the draft one in the 3rd round this weekend. Me thinks Lavon will be somewhere else next season.  Plus, the drug suspension did him to favors with the franchise.  I hope he gets shipped somewhere for a late round draft pick vs. cut in training camp.

Maybe, but they were looking more at the likelihood of Reggie Wayne being gone after this season (retirement or free agency) and the possibility of Hakeem Nicks becoming a free agent at the end of the year.  LaVon really started blooming last season and if he stays off the weed he could become a star this season.

Further down in that article it says"

Selecting Moncrief means the race for one of the final receiver spots will be competitive between Griff Whalen, Da'Rick Rogers and LaVon Brazill. The Colts could end up releasing at least two of them....Rogers likely has the inside track on making the roster over Brazill and Whalen. The Colts have high hopes for him because of his speed and size at receiver. His biggest issue is avoiding trouble off the field.
