Also from Point Pleasant HIgh School. He never played for Marshall as serious legal troubles had followed him for sometime.

Sad story. He was a nice kid during his time at Parkersburg HS, but I think several bad decisions after graduation caused an extreme downhill spiral.

He got into a fight with our strength coach and was kicked off the team. Was into drugs etc pretty bad and I would assume this was the reason he turned up dead. Kid was full of talent, just a tragic way for his story to end. Could have been so much more.

Wasonga was a stud in HS. Could've played for a BCS level team if he didn't have issues off the field.

I covered a few of his games with Gridiron Glory. Was amazed by his ability. Sad to see how things turned out for him.
