Pulled this from the Columbus Dispatch's Rumblings blog post:

The Mid-American Conference is accepting applications on its website for “social media correspondents” to cover the league’s football media day at Ford Field in Detroit on July 23.  The application offers the winners a chance “to cover the event – just like a member of the media” and to “talk to your favorite players and coaches.”
