1. Defensive Scoring; Pick Sixes, Safeties, Blocked Kicks for TDs, Returned Kicks.
2. Short Drives; Quick Scores or from Short Field.
3. Early Control of Games. Get the Starters Out Early, Concerned Primarily about OL.
Really don't want the OL starters to have to be supermen.

Anything less than national champs is a disappointment bro!
(My impression of an OSU fan)

1. The D has learned how to handle big O lines.
2. Vick is as effective as he was vs Norfolk St
3. The running game is good enough to take pressure off the passing game.
4. We go unbeaten at home.

My biggest hope for 2014 was that Vick's first season as a starter be as successful as Tettleton's first season but after looking again at the roster from 2011 I'm just not sure Vick has the supporting cast around him to be able too make a fair comparison.
I guess I could say in general terms that I hope I am as surprised by OUr QB1's success in 2014 as I was in 2011.

Playing for the conference championship in Detroit. We haven't done that since 2011, its been too long.

I don't care if we make a bowl game or not. I would like to see a team that is COMPETITIVE with the better teams in the MAC. We don't even have to win...just try and lose by less than 2 touchdowns.

I agree with D.A.
If injuries do not play a role this year I believe the team will have success.

Hey Wes, how 'bout WINNING the MACC. We haven't done that since...either football began or 1968!

1. Beating Kent State...finally.
2. Limited injuries.
3. As far as the season goes, I just want to see progress. The defense will be fine, but I just want to see the offense get better and better as the season goes along. And also become more explosive.

I want to see a team that gives 110% on the field, and stays out of trouble off the field. Give me that, and I'm happy.

Stopping the run. Establishing the read option, the whole offense depends on it. Developing depth on the offensive line. Sound on special teams. If they do these things the rest will take care of itself.

Solich needs a MAC Championship - period. If he is going to go down as one of the Great MAC Coaches - he has to win a couple MAC Championships.

My expectations for the coming season are modest. While I'd love to see a MAC title or even another division title, I'd be okay with another winning season and a 6th straight bowl appearance. Oh, and I hope to see a team that plays game in and game out with piss and vinegar. If that happens, then perhaps team performance will outmuscle my expectations.

Two MAC titles and 100 wins at Ohio should do it.
