With that being said.....I think OU could use some of that cutting edge growth and vision. I love Schaus but it seems like we are a little old fashioned with our thinking at times. It'll be interesting to see if the new external guy is a yes man to Schaus or if he pushes the envelope and challenges the conventional thinking.
Schaus has been here 5 years so you can't compare only 2014 to 2013 and pass a judgement. I think Family Packs started during Hocutt's last year but that was a great idea. Schaus has added to that premium family packs, touchdown club, champions club ect to the list. This year there is a tickets for kids section and if you are a regular season ticket holder you have the option of donating tickets from any game you can't make to a local charity. I donated 8 tickets to the Beef O'Brady bowl when I couldn't make it because of a vacation last year. We all know there are tons of kids in SE Ohio that would love to be at the game if their parents could afford it so that program is a perfect match for the region. I've been to games at the Naval Academy where the bring in kids from the Boy Scouts and youth sport leagues for games which I don't see much of in Athens.
