I heard the guys on NFL Radio discussing this idea earlier today. Very creative stuff. There are even more ways to earn points not listed in the article such as watching the preseason broadcasts or listening to games on the radio (the broadcaster would read a redemption code at some point during the game and the listener would have an account where they would enter the code).
The downside, well, there seems to be no downside. It's a cool marketing idea that I think any sports program, pro or college, could use. I know those of us on the board who languish over the tower side's lack of volume would praise it.
