I think we angered them.

That was unreal. They were up 80-10 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Coaches agreed to shorten the last quarter to just 6 mins.

A running clock in the 4th qtr just like h.s. blowouts.

NW St.'s tackling in the second half reminded me of the middle school team my son played on in 7th grade that went winless. They might be FCS but so are several teams ranked in the top 100 overall in college football.

Kid is gonna be on his way to Alabama if he chooses to leave Major Applewhite.

48-7 with a few minutes to go against a favored opponent. Ouch. While they didn't have Gio when they played us, this still makes us look good.

48 - 14 Final. (1 TD was a hailmary as time expired at halftime, the last TD came with 52 seconds left and my brother and I were in there playing DB)

320 yards rushing on 43 carries 5 TD's on the road at a tough place to play. (We held them to 114)

Impressive.

I too am glad we dodged this kid.

Something tells me that he will not be on this team next season with these kind of performances.

I agree it was to our advantage not to face Lopez but our defense against USA completely blew away the performance of App State’s defense last night and it wasn’t just the discrepancy in QBs. The Mountaineers didn’t look like they really wanted to tackle half of the time. Very uninspired. A poor performance by a good program. I’m not saying anyone feels this way but I sure don’t feel like issuing any apologies for our win. We had some people out too.

Honestly, looking at the stats it appears South Bama ran all over them, don’t know that the QB would have made as big of a difference against us as some are suggesting.
