After having all those great coaches go on to other schools, I'm sure about the most Fiami hopes for is to keep a coach for 3-5 years.  They'd just like win a game now and then.

He certainly didn't make a "Saul Phillips" statement about his commitment to Miami, did he?  I must admit that I think he'll turn the Redchicken program around.  I admire his guts in getting in the face of that recruit who wanted to decomit and go to Rutgers.

Most blatant honesty I've seen from a coach in a while. It's actually a bit refreshing to not have someone go through the "dog and pony show" of acting like he's at his dream job. Can't blame the guy for being honest.

Then again, if he pulls a Treadwell he may be leaving for entirely different reasons...
