I'm thinking the longer this competition goes, the greater the chance that JD is going to sneak up and steal the #1 spot. I know Frank would prefer to name a starter sooner, and because he hasn't yet, I just get the impression JD might have the edge. His numbers seem slightly better.

Yeah, but can either of them play in the paint?  We already have two point guards, so if they want playing time on the hard court, they'll have to bang down low.

I also thought I heard Tim Albin say that pretty clearly in one of the daily interviews.  May not have been "announced" but I'll bet the O knows.

I'm sure they will both play, though. I'd be surprised if we don't see Sprague some in the second quarter, which is what Solich has done in the past. If Vick were to get injured, that would mean Sprague would have a bit more experience.
