WOW! They got shellacked last night. Gave up 702 yards of offense to Western Kentucky! Lost 59-31. 

We've got to go out and beat Kent State today. The MAC East could be open for the taking this year.

They looked really bad. However WKU is a better team than most people realize. Went 8-4 last year and look even better now.

One Bobcat problem is the BG game is on Homecoming Saturday.  When the throng of former students migrate to Athens for the revelry, the team recently has been no where to be found.

Two giant moves forward for the team this year would be: reverse the Kent curse and when the old and not so old return to watch them that the team gives the viewers visual proof why the team deserves to be followed at places like Kent, Akron and Miami with the crowds showing at these locations too.  

Go to Homecoming and see a new coached Ball State hand it to you and follow it up with messing the bed vs Central and you grow an apathetic following. Let's see a little "Nobody messes with me in my house" attitude this season.

The third advance would be when OHIO faces Toledo in the MAC Championship is for the Bobcats to win for like the first time since before Chuck Ealey QB'd the Rockets!

Hopefully they don't get their defense worked out by the time we play. Looked horrible.

Yes. I do not lower my expectations of BG in the MAC just huge credit to WKU.

Disappointing outing from BG, although I believe they'll still be a solid team this season. Still....woof.

Credit to WKU, for sure.  But BG's D gives up 59 and it doesn't make you somewhat question ??
