Nice! I won't have to spend a Saturday digging through Google images now.

Well, I guess we know who gave them the idea.

They started late, and missed #99 Kurt Laseak.

and #98 Tony Davis (couldn't find an action shot)

There isn't a #97 - using current Bobcat pictures, there will be gaps along the way, so maybe you can fill in some of those numbers when the time comes.  The next gap I see is at 88, then 83, 76, 74, and 72. It will also be interesting what they do when they hit the double numbers. The first double number comes at 69, with both Blake Crow and Zach Murdock sporting that number.

They had one for Kurt.  I remember seeing it. A former player was listed and shown for a missing number. Drawing a blank at the moment, but it clearly listed former player.

Nic Barber was the former player.

I agree that the uniforms look awesome.

Now, for Monroe, another Big Manz... (Ohio's D-line looks like it will be awesome).

Guy looks lean and mean and ready to play

(Why no pictures of #90 Trent Smart and #89 Spencer Schnell?)

For 88, there is no current player, so we get a picture of a Lion (Detroit):

Thanks for putting this together LC.
It's a great way to count down to the season.

I am not putting this together. I'm just re-posting the images from the Ohio Football Twitter. I'm just giving their work a wider audience. They are the ones that deserve the credit. It's probably not too hard for them, since they already have pictures of most of the players (they were apparently missing #90 Trent Smart and #89 Spencer Schnell so far), and they just need to add the "Countdown to Gameday" and "Days" to each picture.

Last year C.Money did it the hard way; he spent his Saturdays scouring google images, finding players in action with each number. Now that had to be quite the task.

Do we have any retired football numbers?  I cannot recall seeing any signage for this in Peden.
