kents ran out of the gun all day except on a 3rd and short late first half--they ran a quick runnning play with their qb under center.  Got them the first down on a look I've advocated we have in our arsenal.

We ran a kind of flanker 'screen' but instead of the receiver catching the ball out on near the sideline and right behind another receiver, our receiver caught the ball off tackle and not really behind a receiver who was ready to block.  Nice wrinkle which found our receiver with no one near him, so able to turn up field unimpeded for a few yards.

Vick rolled out, in a passing look...but ran around the right edge for about five yards.  He pump faked a pass as he rolled.  It just had the look of a roll out to start.  A little wrinkle.

Not good plays--why did we play about 10 yards off kents' slot receiver #25 so much?  He caught about a dozen balls.

Perhaps because of his combination of speed and shiftiness. He clearly possessed both.

Not sure why we left him uncovered so as to let him easy catch it so he could use his speed and shifty to advance the ball.

Ohio goes for it on 4th and 3 from kents' 37 mid-3rd quarter.  Vick nails LSmith on a slant for the first.

Went for it on 4th and 4 at kents 36 early 4th qtr.  Again, got it by Vick to LSmith.

From about kents' 35 in the 4th qtr when kents' qb threw the ball outside of the tackle box and it reached the line of scrimmage--why wasn't that called a safety?

kents db Nate Holley was outstanding yesterday.

Last drive to get us within field goal range:  Daz in motion on fake jet sweep--gives Derrius room for about 7 up the middle.

My vote is the play that confirms the Kent read, Kent write cheer.  Two guys with the same number on the field at the same time results in a turnover (their punt receiving team would of had possession if not for the resulting OHIO first down) and OHIO  TD!
