We weren't in the top 25 but we were ranked #29 per the AP poll ranking standards using the points from the ballots, the same as the top 25 is ranked. But whatever helps you sleep at night.

Let's say that 31 teams received votes. By your logic...whatever...everyone else was tied for 32. Yes, we were ranked 32nd at the end of last year! Everyone gets a trophy!
