We have about the most giveaways in 1A but probably about the best points off giveaway ratio (I'm not sure if the NCAA keeps stats on this). Through four games we have seven giveaways but we've given up only seven points off them (Kent's second TD). That means we've given up just one point per giveaway, which really isn't too shoddy.

On the other hand, we now have four takeaways, with ten points off them (a FG and a TD tonight), or 2 1/2 points per takeaway.

The adage is that if you win the turnover battle you'll win the game, but it also matters how you respond to turnovers. We've done pretty well so far.
