Looking over the roster included with this weeks game notes. I think I'am seeing about 3-4 new names. Including an Ohio State transfer (?) TE wearing #13. Several others which I think are new. I see Clem Vinegar has joined the team.
Is there a threshold date when all of these guys were added?

I believe that they can be added any time after the students return. From the opening of fall camp until then the limit is 105 players, but after school is in session the roster goes back up to 115-120, usually.

Here's an interesting graphic on players from the Cincy area coming to Ohio:

This might explain the guy I see wearing a really nice Nike Ohio state backpack with a number 49 on it around campus.

From Arkley's article today, I found this interesting, especially the bit on Wyatt:

"Ohio has had two position changes recently. Redshirt freshman Justin Wyatt has moved from wide receiver to cornerback. Another redshirt freshman, Leon Alexander, has slid from safety up to outside linebacker."

Wyatt was pretty highly touted WR recruit, wasn't he?

Ryan Carter wore #82 at Ohio State.

Wyatt was highly touted by ESPN, less so by the other recruiting services:

I hope he works out as well as the last player Ohio moved from WR to corner. Interestingly, Thad Turner was also from Georgia.

As for Alexander, he not only slid up to SLB, he's listed as #2 on the depth chart at that position now.

Layton has been hurt. IDK on J. Brown. Interestingly, Ohio brought in three JUCOs to help at positions of need this fall, Layton at CB, Boland at TE, and Bonnstetter as Punter. Of these, only Bonnstetter has played and the other 2 have been hurt since before the season started.
