This is really great news. He's doing a tremendous job.

What effect do you think the frequent double-teaming of BASHam is having on Poling's success? I'm not taking anything away from Poling by asking this question. With these kind of results, I think teams going forward will have to play us more straight up which will enable both players to excel.

I noticed in the UK game they seemed to be doubling up on Basham, which left a big hole for Poling right up the middle. Didn't see so much of that last week, tho I could be wrong. It seemed that when did get into the backfield vs Idaho, it was on delayed blitzes.

What was the last time we had a player win one of these national weekly position awards? It seems to me there was one a few years ago, but I'm not remembering who or when.
