If you read about the Basketball Passport website (bbpassport.com) last winter over on the basketball board, then you probably know that the same guy launched a baseball version (hardballpassport.com) this spring.

Well, today he launched one for football: fbpassport.com.

Same cool features: You can log all the pro and Division I college games you've ever attended, earning stamps for certain achievements. The stats page tells you the overall record of teams when you've been in attendance, plus some other cool info.

The NFL database goes all the way back to Super Bowl I. The college one isn't completely built out yet; it currently goes back only to 2001. But the guy announced today that within a month he'll have college games active all the way back to 1979.

On each game you log, you have the ability to post photos and add a paragraph of your memories or opinion about the stadium.

I must admit that I'm really biased as I make a plug for this, because I'm obsessed with researching my sports history to locate all the games I've been to. But anyway, at least give it a look. I think most of you will love it.

Kinda stinks this only goes back to 2001. I can fondly remember some early-mid 90s trips up to Michigan Stadium with family and friends. Most memorable was Kordell Stewart's 70-yard heave for the Colorado win in 1994.

So hard to remember which Ohio games I went to and which ones I didn't while I was in school. Other than Pitt, there weren't that many memorable games.

Although Ball State in 2005 where Kalvin McRae went for 250+ yards, Voncarie Owens went over 100 yards, Justin Fitzgerald had an 80-yard end around TD and Scott Mayle took a kickoff back for a TD (which he got flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after the play because he celebrated too early by putting up a #1 finger while crossing the goal line) was pretty memorable. :)

Kinda stinks that I can't link my list to this site. I'd be interested in seeing where everyone else has been.

I've been to 105 basketball games and 50 football games, not including several Miami games (alumni parents) in the 90s I can't remember. The best NBA individual performance I have witnessed: Shawn Marion when he was with Phoenix against Cleveland in 2002 went for 28 and 8. Best NFL QB performance was Jeff Blake of the Bengals going 21-36, 349 yds, and 4 touchdowns in a win over the Falcons in 1996.

Saw a Michael Jordan buzzer beater against the Cavs when he played for the Wizards late in his career. It was almost in the exact same spot as "The Shot" in 1989 which was unbelievably spooky. Other than that and a handful of Lebron-led Cavs games or Mark Price-led Cavs games, not really much to remember up there in Cleveland. I do recall Ricky Davis going for over 30 one night which was just really weird to watch.

The site administrators are building out the database. It's supposed to be extended for all college games back to 1979, and the announced estimate for when that should happen had been stated as "by the end of September."

It'll be very cool once it's expanded. I have already counted out what games I need to add, and that will open up another 50 games for me to log.

By the way, my username on fbpassport.com and the related sites is also lovebobcat. I've got 351 games on my basketball passport.

I've only been to one Browns game in my life and boy was it memorable. It was the Sunday night game vs. the Ravens in 2002 where Tim Couch got hurt and everyone cheered. Kelly Holcombe of course came in and almost led to a comeback victory, but in pure Browns fashion they screwed it up.

I don't think he put up a finger on either of his pick-6s. The one thing that sticks out in my mind was how gently he put the ball down in the end zone before he celebrated with his teammates. He literally just set the ball on the ground and let it sit there. You could tell that he wasn't going to do anything that would cause a penalty.
