There is so much parity are the top of the MAC. I'm sure this week will help clear things up a little bit. To my surprise, Ohio actually has the best odds in the MAC futures. Like I said, a 4 or 5 way tie is well within a possibilty.
Using Draft Kings
Ohio +350
Toledo +450
NIU +450
BGSU +500
Buffalo +650
WMU +700
Miami +800
EMU +2500
CMU +4000
Ball St. +25000
Akron +50000
Kent St. +50000

This projection of possibilities from Kelly Ford at kfordratings.com doesn't match the futures that well but demonstrates a possible mess.
And, of course, I need to show teamrankings.com projection which also has 7 teams between 5.1 and 5.8 conference wins.

It is maybe the least favorable to Ohio (10% MACC) but no team has a greater than 19% chance to win the MAC. Halfway through the season that's an outlier. ACC has Miami at only 38%. Iowa St. and JMU lead the Big XII and Sunbelt odds at 41%.
