This is one of four road games, (Syracuse, Kentucky, Miami, Toledo) that I didn't give us much chance to win before the season. While I feel slightly better about it knoe than I did then, I'm not feeling great. My guess is that Miami hitting the gas at the end against EMU and Ohio letting off of it against CMU changed the line on this week's game pretty substantially. My guess is Miami -7.

I see Miami -4.5. I was Was way off. That's more like what I thought it would be at halftime yesterday. It means we wouldn't be much of an underdog on a neutral field.

Buffalo is favored by 1.5 at home which means WMU is probably considered to be the better team.

OU - Miami: Miami W
Miami might've figured it out. They played a great game. EMU has been playing great. I don't feel good about this game. Not after that second-half last week.
CMU - EMU: EMU
Kent - BG: Someone has to win, so I guess BG.
Toledo - NIU: Toledo
WMU - Buffalo: Buffalo is rollin
Ball State - Vandy: Ball is not a state

Ohio beats Miami
CMU upsets EMU
Kent upsets BG
Toledo loses to NIU
Ball St loses to Vandy

I have no idea why I put Kent for the win but BG has regressed and offensive output has not been the same (Fannin Jr still unstoppable).

I also think Kent State might win 9-6 or perhaps 90-60

I'll put my bet on 90-60. Each defense in the stands cheering the offensive teams aye? 🤣

There is so much parity are the top of the MAC. I'm sure this week will help clear things up a little bit. To my surprise, Ohio actually has the best odds in the MAC futures. Like I said, a 4 or 5 way tie is well within a possibilty.

Using Draft Kings
Ohio +350
Toledo +450
NIU +450
BGSU +500
Buffalo +650
WMU +700
Miami +800
EMU +2500
CMU +4000
Ball St. +25000
Akron +50000
Kent St. +50000

This is all the sites:
https://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/mac-ch... /

This projection of possibilities from Kelly Ford at kfordratings.com doesn't match the futures that well but demonstrates a possible mess.

And, of course, I need to show teamrankings.com projection which also has 7 teams between 5.1 and 5.8 conference wins.
https://www.teamrankings.com/ncf/projections/standings /

It is maybe the least favorable to Ohio (10% MACC) but no team has a greater than 19% chance to win the MAC. Halfway through the season that's an outlier. ACC has Miami at only 38%. Iowa St. and JMU lead the Big XII and Sunbelt odds at 41%.

Got my eye balls on that Toledo NIU game.

I still don't think NIU is very good, despite a hell of a win at ND, but that could really cushion things up for OU.

Buffalo losing would also be great.

Of course we have to keep winning, but inexplicably the path is opening for us to make a run.

Right there with you. Need NIU to win that one.

Man, CMU is bad so far. They’re playing like they did the first half against us. 65 yards in a quarter and 1-2.
That’s about what they had the first half last week.

CMU has already come back some too. But I suspect CMU is the 4th worst team. I think we caught a break playing all of Kent St., Akron, Ball State, and CMU. There might not be a ton of separation in the rest of the MAC.
