Interesting, school saying the young man got all he was promised and after the start the family wanted to renegotiate! If this is true, good luck finding your next team.
The old saying “there’s two sides to every story” often holds true. What we heard first was his story. Since then we’ve heard from UNLV. The truth lies somewhere in the between. The question is, where in between. Either way, it’s yet another issue that isn’t good for college (or should I say pro) football. Whether one side is at fault, or both, either way it’s not positive for the sport. But this is where we are today with this sport. And things like this won’t be the last we hear about either.
The other thing that we don't know about that may be in play here is tampering. Nick Saban flat out admitted after he retired that Alabama tried to get Toledo's corner Quinyon Mitchell to enter the portal and he never did. Gotta think that's happening ad nauseum all over the sport.
Now...tampering a guy with these stats to play on a higher level? That would be something.
