Monroe hits the nail on the head. This staff relies on players that can execute plain and simple offnsive and defensive schemes. When they are outmanned or do not execute they are in for a long day. I see at least 4-5 more long days this year. I just hope one is not homecoming or a lot of the good will built up over the last nine years will really start to evaporate.

Looking for positive from the CMU game. Kicking game is fixed and kick coverages are quite good. Shout out to our TE Troy Mangen. I think he is getting better every game. Good blocker and catches everything that is close to him.
Linebacking crew is very good. Open field tackling by Javon Johnson and Blair Brown is the best we have had in a few years.

I agree on all fronts. Jovan Johnson and Blair Brown are good fundamental tacklers. I would add Poling into that mix. And I love Troy Mangen's sure hands, can't we get some short stuff to him, just to mix things up?
