I know the anger runs deep on how a program with a 10th year head coach can be 3-4 right now. Cincinnati gave up 55 points to Miami Fl this week and is 2-3. Fresno State is 3-4 losing to UNLV yesterday. NIU of course dropped a game 34-17 against CMU at home. That is much worse than losing to CMU 28-10 on the road in their homecoming game. Some of the most consistent G5 football schools aren't getting it done either. Its life at where we are in the football food chain to have some down years.
And NIU, the torch bearer for the MAC the last 3 years, barely got past Kent State last week.
Think it's bad at Ohio? Just take a look at Kent- they go from being a top 30 team in 2012 to being one of the worst teams in the FBS just two years later.
