I see a double digit win tonight, Ohio 31, Buffalo 17

Crowd will be 13,483 actually in the stands, but announced will be 18,923 due to season ticket sales.

OHIO 42
Beefs 21

Attendance: 7,800 (in the stands); 14,500 (announced)

Attendance would be better but the predicted rain will keep many away; some weather services (e.g., Weather Bug) are now saying rain will hold off to midnight, which might help some with locals who can make a last minute decision to go or watch on TV.)

Ohio-5
Buffalo-3

Attendance: 20,000 (announced) 9,999k in the house

I think the crowd might be OK early since the basketball event will draw some people. I think some of those people come to the game but leave when they get cold.

With the wet weather it's gonna be about who can win in the trenches. Buffalo is 92nd in rushing yards per game defense. Pound the rock, pound the rock, pound the rock, pound the rock, then throw a deep play-action pass to Cochran and hope he catches the wet ball.

I had to laugh at one of the predictions over at UBfan:

Bobcats get a phantom safety call in the 3rd quarter after an intentional grounding by Joe Licata at the 10-yard line.

At least our UB friends have a sense of humor and realize how absurd that call was.

I think we see an offensive explosion this evening and top 30. Buffalo outgains us but loses the turnover battle and scores less than 30.

9,473 butts in seats; 17,331 announced.

Ohio 23
Buffs 20

Announced attendance 17, 540 , actual attendance. 12,000

Is it really supposed to rain in Athens tonight? If so, I hope OUr field looks better in the rain than Akron's did last night. That shine on their field was distracting.
