Just a question, should Bill Hess have his name on something?

I don't know why anyone would say there shouldn't be something named in his honor.

One of the sad things today is that almost all naming rights are sold for money, and are not given for achievement. If Peden were the coach today, and the stadium were built today, it probably wouldn't be called "Peden". Instead it would most likely be named after some donor.

Didn't someone on this board have a gal in Kalamazoo?
Is that a Back To Tennesse (by The Commander) reference?

I'd say, older than that:

That dance routine is nothing short of sensational.

My Ohio grad daughter and her Ohio-grad husband now live about an hour from K-Zoo so we (my WMU-grad wife and I) went to the game and were invited to a tailgate by one of her WMU friends. Though there is no apparent "organized" event like Tailgreat Park, there was some serious tailgating going on in the parking lots. Quite a fun atmosphere, though from my observation a good number of participants never actually intended to go to the game. Yes, the stands were 80% full and stayed that way through nearly the end of the game. And yes, I too was welcomed by several people. Good game-day atmosphere but the railroad tracks and major road that cut through the campus do detract from the overall college campus experience. And since it is in a city, there were a lot more "drive-ins" then usually experienced in Athens.

Watched a bit of CMU at EMU yesterday. The stands that the camera showed (one side of the field, that is) did not have more than 200 people--no exaggeration.

FYI...Through the 60s railroad tracks cut through Ohio's campus.

Seriously, Frank seems nice but his interactions with players always seem awkward or a little forced. .
I have heard similar stories from old players about this
