Michigan is currently 5-6, and Saturday afternoon they take on a certain team that I'm aware a lot of BA.com posters are not fond of. However, if the Wolverines win, they get to 6-6, and trust me, will earn a bowl bid. So I take it many of you will be wanting Michigan to lose, therefore.....

Not saying this is the only game that determines Ohio's bowl future, but you never know...

Any chance we'll get five feet of snow in the next 24 hours?

I've just decided I don't care. People know how much I hate the buckeyes, but I might hate Hoke equally and it would be really really funny if he went 5-7 and missed a bowl and was sent packing. So, while I normally don the maize and blue in my mind on such a day just to shut buckeye fan up, i don't really have a rooting interest. Is it funnier if osu loses or if they win and still miss the playoff? is it funnier if they miss the playoff and TCU makes it? Many of these scenarios are valid and exceptionally funny. At noon Saturday I'll be doing something that entails enjoyment of the warm weather. I'll miss this game but I won't miss it one bit.

Since Hoke went to the same high school that I did it is hard to root against Michigan. That is something that is also impossible for me do if they are playing A&M.

I have a daughter attending Michigan, so I'll be cheering for the Maize and Blue.

May I suggest doing what I've been doing for years? Purchase a UM shirt to wear one day a year. When the osu-um game was played the Saturday before Thanksgiving and practically every teacher and student in my school wore scarlet and gray on the Friday before the game, I was one of the few in the building to wear maize and blue. I still have a staff photo from about 5 years ago with the entire staff wearing scarlet and gray (and several in sweater vests) with me front and center in a UM shirt. Those days are gone with the game moved to the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but I still have former students who mistake me for a UM fan because of wearing their colors one day a year.

I'll be rooting for o$u for the first time in my life. I hope they win 3-0, or maybe 6-2 in double overtime like Wake Forest over Virginia Tech last weekend.
