Might not be the best we've had, but they did not quit and refused to finish losers. People in the bars during the win were happy I can confirm.

I said before the season I didn't think they'd ever quit, and that they would be fun to root for. I've enjoyed rooting for this bunch of players a lot. Even though the season didn't go quite as well as I had hoped, they still battled the whole way, overcame some adversity, and provided some memorable moments. Go Bobcats.

I've been very critical of the team this year, and frankly the overall results could have been a little better even in a rebuilding year given the schedule, but I agree that this team plays hard and to the end and (knock on wood) I don't remember anyone getting in trouble recently. The emergence of AJ O as a featured back is a good thing. I think Sebastian Smith, Jordan Reid and Brendan Cope have great futures and our O-line performed solidly for their experience and should only get better. I definitely think we are a contender next year, but at the same time I have my doubts that we have the quarterback play needed for a real shot at a title.
Also, when I say I don't think this is a bowl-worthy team, I'm just talking results. 6-6 against our schedule doesn't belong in a bowl. It just doesn't. It doesn't mean I think the team doesn't work hard; I know they do. I'm sure Miami does too and they're 2-10. I'm sure EMU does and they're 2-10. It doesn't mean I wouldn't enjoy seeing the seniors get one more crack at the field.
I'm quite positive next year we'll be better. I hope that we'll be significantly better.
