Folks, it still needs to happen in some way. 6-6 includes wins over powerhouses such as : Akron, Kent, Buffalo, Miami (OH), D-Iaa stiff, and Idaho. We beat nobody this year and this staff has proven it needs a total change or at least all coordinators to change. I am happy we beat a shitty Miami team, but that doesn't change the bigger picture of changes that need to happen.

Folks the status quo, is not what we need. We all would be doing this program a disservice for accepting that.

I honestly thought we'd be 7-5 or 6-6 this year and we did about as I'd expect. Frank will be back next year (if he wants to) and I expect an improvement on this year as these guys get another year under them.

You can't expect to win 10 games every year.

We just had a 21 point comeback win against our rivals to become bowl eligible. If this is your reaction to that I wonder why you even watch sports in the first place?

One moment cant delete a wholeyear of underwhelming performances. You love the moment, and I can appreciate that. However, I need to look at the complete body of work.

You predicted 6 wins before the year, so while you label the year "underwhelming", it did match your expectations.
Edit - fixed to match his actual prediction.

We've beaten M#$%i eight out of the last nine times we've played them. That's change you can believe in. Go, Ohio!

I don't think there's a lot of people who are saying that some things need to change (play calling is a big one), but just let people enjoy the moment. There is a long time for us to talk about what needs to change, we can only come back from 21 points once this year.

The mediocrity train has a lot of passengers.

Rejoicing to struggle to win over a lousy team and thinking we'll improve much without change, this way please!

It appears some of the shine has come off of the great yazdani. Last week he missed not one but TWO 48 yarders... had them straight on, but no leg and then last night darn near sent us into overtime with a no team last night. I certainly hope he doesn't win anything this week for that horrid performance. Yes, kickers are either the goat or the hero, but this week he's a bit of both.

You want to focus on special teams, how about that young man Nelson with his return. Would it be alright if he won something for his return? There was good that needs recognized, how about we make sure the pats on the back are given out so we don't forget there was a win.

Agreed!! Ohio won both in football and in hoops last night, it's not snowing here in Cleveland, we're 24 hours away from enjoying a food coma, a lot of good football is on this weekend. What's there to complain about? I'm going to worry about what Ohio should or shouldn't do on Monday. I say just enjoy the day today!!

It was great to be on site to watch our kids and coaches regroup at the half, make some great adjustments, and fight their way back into the game, and make enough big plays down the stretch to win the game! Great win for our young team against our rival. Great play calling by Coach Albin and the offensive staff, and great adjustments made by Coach Burrow and his staff to shut down the Miami offense. If you didnt like this win, please turn in your Bobcat gear at "New-To-You", and start following some other team !

Did you love the moment or were you hoping for a loss to reinforce your point of view?

Ohio won a tri-fecta yesterday with Football and Men's and Women's Basketball both winning...it must have been "Old Ohio's Day!"

On the very, very remote chance that we change coaching staff, I suggest part of the criteria for the new staff is that they have not beaten a team with a winning record in about 30 games.

Think of the justifiable enthusiasm we'll all have for the future (and the past, also!)!

Did we not beat NT and Marshall just last year? What are you talking about? 30 games-hogwash!

BG won the division this year without beating a team with a winning record; 0-4 so far (lost to WKU, Wis, WMU at home, Toledo). WKU might finish 6-6. The difference between our record and BG's may be that we played more teams with winning records (5) than they did (4 at this point). Not that we shouldn't beat teams that have winning records; hell, I'd like to see us win every game. But that shouldn't be the sole, or even major, criterion for success.

The wins and losses in the MAC mostly come down to the game plan. We have a little more talent on defense than most of the MAC East schools and that pulls out the victories. Frank I think will end up like Joe Novak at NIU the guy got the ship turned around for future coaches to sail with. If that means we have to put up with a few second or third place finishes in the MAC East I can live with it.

A good Game plan and having a great QB doesn't hurt.

I think a change next year is we won't be one of the least experienced teams in football (as others have pointed out.) That will make a difference.
If folks can't see a ray of hope in the results of the Buffalo and NIU games and in a victory over a rival with good second half adjustments, then I don't know what will make you think positively about our future.
We were much more competitive in our losses than last year as well.
And anyone who doesn't think that an over abundance of injuries this year didn't hurt us as well, let me know why.

We have found a running back who will be quite adequate over the next 3 years if he stays healthy.

Lots to look forward to IMHO.
