Still not over how pathetic the stands at the Fiami game looked last week. There was the band and maybe a dozen people on that side of the stadium. Not a good impression for the national (or international) TV audience. The NIU-WMU game looked better, but I'm sure the rest were more like Fiami's.

I think it's time for the MAC to eliminate T-week games. Move Midweek MACtion up a week into the last week of October and have the regular season finish the week before T-day. That way the kids can spend the holiday with family, and there would be an extra week to sell tix for the MACCG. The MAC could still accommodate ESPN with Tuesday-Wednesday games in Oct instead of Tuesday-Friday on T-week; hell, there were only two MAC games on mothership channels that week anyway, so it's no loss if games wind up on ESPN3. With 13 teams, one team has finished before T-week anyway. When UMass leaves, the entire conf should wrap up the week before T-day.

Like the idea of wrapping up before Thanksgiving but that limits the out of conference scheduling for some of the schools should they elect to play a game later in the season.
