Although not given many opportunities at the Semper Fi all star game, I was wondering what would be a final evaluation for his performance.

Personally, I thought that he had some good moments. He did not appear to be as fast or have as strong as arm as the black QB. I thought that his first appearance was less than what I would have expected. His second a third appearances were somewhat improved.

I realize that this type of game does not represent a true game performance.

Just wanted to get other opinions.

Per your comment, these exhibitions are hard to use as barometers. This game especially as the level of recruit is more inconsistent versus the Under Armour and Army games (players can request an invite to this game, where the others are invite only). The practices are as indicative as the game. While he was not as dynamic, nor had the big gainers of the other QBs, I thought (as apparently he was in practice) he was much more consistent.

Given the level of play he faced in high school, I'm sure he was excited (since he is such a competitor) about taking it up a notch - he did well in the process.

The big adjustment he will have to make (as most of the players will), is he is no longer in the running for being the best athlete on the field. There were a few plays (e.g., when he was sacked) that his play showed he was used to being able to "out athletic" the defender. Those days are over. I'm sure the focus of his (presumed) red-shirt year will be to get used to the speed of play.

Was easily the most polished of the group, was 9 of 12 for 125 yds I believe. His accuracy on his throws when you consider working with WR's and RB's for three days is amazing.
