Per Michael George twitter, 20 players have graduated early the last two years, and Crutcher is the latest to do so. Note that he never redshirted, so he graduated in only 3 1/2 years!

Congrats Antwan, and good luck with your dreams!

Wait, he's voluntarily leaving college and Athens in less than 4 years? What a damned fool thing to do! ;-)
On a (slightly) more serious note: congratulations and good work young man, but you'll be kicking yourself in years to come for missing out on that last spring in Athens (if indeed that is what's happening)

He didn't say he was leaving. What he said specifically was "With the grades being in I'm happy to say that I'm done with undergrad."

The wording implies to me he may well be planing on taking some grad school classes.

Not sure how athletic scholarships work, though, I would like to see Crutch allowed another semester of graduate or other studies. During the spring semester he might contribute wearing a whistle instead of pads. Leaving college early, I agree, silly idea.

I almost wept the moment I looked at my DARS and realized as a sophomore I was going to graduate from OU in three years. My bank account thanked me. Everything else about it flat-out stunk.

Post-secondary and cursed 24-credit hour quarters my freshman year put me on the fast track. A terrible, horrible, no-good fast-track.

Working hard does not pay, kids.

Spring's not what it used to be now that Ohio's gone to the semester schedule. School only lasts through April. No May classes for the regular sessions anymore. :(

True about spring not being what it once was
If he's staying for some grad classes/just to good off through the spring then I whole heartedly appauld his hard work

My guess is he will be spending the majority of the next few months training and preparing for a shot in the NFL. He never had eye popping numbers in the MAC so that will hurt, but the physical tools are there and I think he has a shot to at least make a training camp roster.

Per this site, he's rated the #25 DT out of 184. That's probably a little high to get drafted, but he's surely going to get a FA contract, and with a great workout for the scouts, you never know.

This site lists him as a possible late round pick:

My question is, will he be invited to the Combine? I think he very well may be.

Active in football all four years and graduated in 3 and a half--that's mighty strong.

The rankings often change after combines/pro days, and you never know what will catch a scout's eye. The Raiders saw something in Mitchell. Anyway, congrats AC. Hope all your dreams come true.
