Great news.  Landon always seems to land-on his feet.  He has enough talent and enough experience that teams will at least take a look.  I hope he sticks.

I hope so too. I watched a lot of him with the Bears last season. He got some PT due to injuries on a thin line, but he looked overmatched at times. Hope he bounces back.

I didn't get to see any of the game last night, but the box score has Bates with 1 rush for 5 yards. I wonder if he was lined up at WR, QB, or FB on that. He didn't have any receptions.

NFL Net reran the game last night.  Bates was lined up at WR on the running play.  They also threw to him near the end of the first half but it was incomplete.  As I recall it was a poor throw.

Bates with 1 reception for 11 yards on 2 targets last night vs. the Chargers.

Carrie with 2 PRs for 63 yards, including a 50 yarder! Also was beat on a TD catch, though.

Good to hear that Thompson's more than just a long snapper. I think if they keep him, he'll just keep getting better.

As for TJ, I can't fault him too much on the TD - matching up against the TE, he had about a 6 inch height disadvantage, and got out-muscled for the ball. His name was also called in that highlight film a few plays later when he gave up another pass where he may have thought he had deep help, and then again for a missed a tackle. His punt return was great, though.

How many TEs are kept? Pettigrew and Fauria are locks. Ebron who was 10th overall pick would be a lock.  Jordan should be the #4 TE. Lion's roster TEs below.

Landon picked up a fumble and ran 59 yds to set up the Bills' only TD vs the Steelers.  He talks about it here.  Lookin' better for him to get a spot on the roster.
