Saves CMU the bother of firing him; 26-36 in five years isn't exactly stellar and they lose Titus Davis, who was the key to their offense. Plus CMU should get some money because Enos had a year left on his contract.
The lose a total of 6 starters from offense and six from defense. 2015 will be significantly worse for CMU than 2014 was, with or without a coaching change. They will probably be picked 5th in the West.
Having the coach leave right before the end of recruiting can't be a good thing.
