Didn't notice him on last year's roster until recently. He's listed as an offensive lineman on the roster and on last years hudl the 5'10"-310 pounder is listed as a guard and center and defensive tackle from Trotwood-Madison.

At 5'10"-310 he'd be a great road grader fullback for Monroe....now if we put him as a blocking fullback we need to recruit a running back named Salt.

He was a late addition to the roster. I think he was added after the season as an addition for Spring.

One place where the walkon program has disappointed me is that I expected to see it regularly producing offensive linemen, but I can't think of any walkons that developed into starters on the offensive line since Dave Shelby (2006-7), unless JD Bales started a game or two.

I forgot that McGrath started as a walkon, but you are entirely correct.
