I don't know if they usually have one from non-snob conferences, but the other three mentioned in the story are from schools ranked in the top 15 at last season's end. Puts him in a pretty elite group. He earned it and deserves it, and I hope he follows through this fall. Congrats, AJ.

I expect a blow up of Beau-like proportions (from junior year) from A.J. this season. I think that with a more experienced quarterback year as well as our entire offensive line basically back plus tight end and key receivers he is going to feel less pressure to produce. Toss in guys like Daz, Brown and Irons giving him some time off this is going to be a monster year from him.
