Just received Phil Steele's Guide.

I invite anyone to comment here on interesting bits they find in his guide.

Mine would be his listing Belack next after Cope at WR. Mr. Ball is still yet to be heard from and there are other roster players I would expect to have something to say about that. Still, Mr. Ball might wait a year like Mr. Irons did in 14.

Anyone else just receive the guide?

Patiently waiting for my copy. Hoping to get it in the mail before I leave for vacation on Friday. Need some reading material.

Steele is usually spot on with Ohio and the MAC in general.

I'd also like to know some details on the digital copy since books can be hit or miss (for me) when it comes to digital copies.

Edit: Just bought the thing for my IPad mini. It runs smoothly. Warning: the type isn't dynamic, so it's like reading off a PDF. That can get annoying, but I'm used to it from reading team information books.

MINOR GRIPES BELOW (This is not an indictment of Phil Steele. He's a machine of useless, totally fun knowledge about football.)

I really wish he'd get someone to help him lay that thing out.. It's so garish and hard to read. The font choices and graphics are horrible. I also wish for the digital version, he'd do away with the abbreviations. That's the beauty of it being an app. There's no space issues. A Find/Replace through the whole app would make it so much more readable.

Surprised to see his rankings for a lot of the conferences. He has BG and Akron in a 1st place tie in the MAC East (BG winning tiebreaker) and Ohio 3rd. I thought last year was the year Akron was supposed to contend?
