Former BG OL Cody Silk is suing BG, claiming it did not properly protect him from concussions and did not follow its own concussion policy or accepted concussion management practices. A Court of Claims judge had previously granted BG's summary judgment motion on claims concerning negligence and vicarious liability, citing the release Silk had signed. That left only a breach of contract claim. But on reconsideration, the judge reversed himself and is allowing the case to go forward based on questions regarding the effectiveness and the validity of the release.
