Is this our new DB coach? Just saw his tweet. ISU connection. Any ideas?
Isn't the internet great ? He is a recent Colorado grad-2011 and has coached the secondary at Indiana State the last 2 years. The players should like his youth.

Ohio's Linebacker Coach, Ron Collins, was the defensive coordinator at Colorado from 2006-2010. Perkins was at Colorado until 2011, so I presume they had some contact.

I agree, this looks like another very good hire.

Sometimes you have to wonder about the attention to details. Ohio's website still has Ward as our DB coach and Indiana State has taken Perkins off their coaching list as of the last 30 minutes. Come on , guys.

One thing I don't like about this (and it's nothing against Perkins), is that we traded a guy with West Coast recruiting connections (Ward) for a guy with connections in Colorado, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. That's an area of the country we already have fairly well covered.

Well when you present it like that. Nothing there even refutable. Keep it to how we feel, nothing more, clean and simple. Re: Coach Perkins, who the heck knows. He has some fine athletes to work with. Glad they went young.
